The first brotherhood of Holy Week in Malaga is carrying out a campaign through social networks to encourage citizens to decorate the balconies with the traditional palms for Palm Sunday.

The brotherhood sells the traditional palms in order to earn some income. An idea for the brothers to get excited about Passion Week even if there are no processions due to the pandemic.

Juan José Granados, elder brother of the brotherhood, explains in SER Cofrade that at the end of Lent they will expose the new finished throne of the Lord in the brotherhood house and that from Palm Sunday, Jesus and the Holy Mary of Amparo will be visited with the sanitary restrictions that are in force by COVID in its canonical seat, the church of San Agustín.
