Polling stations are closed across the country

At 4:00 p.m., polling stations throughout the country closed, after a quiet civic day, in most polling places. After that time, only those who are in the ranks will be able to cast their vote.

In Alto Paraná, there are 520,000 citizens authorized to vote in 70 polling stations, distributed in the 22 districts.

In the tenth department, Ciudad del Este concentrates the largest number of voters, totaling about 224,000 voters, distributed in 23 electoral colleges.

This morning, the president of the Electoral Justice, Jorge Bogarín announced that the first results of the Preliminary Electoral Results Transmission System (TREP) will be released starting at 5:00 p.m., one hour after the polling stations close.
