Poll: majority for fine for ignoring home quarantine | Inland

About 68 percent of the respondents want a fine for people who do not comply with the mandatory home quarantine. About 28 percent disagree.

When asked how high the fine should be, opinions differ considerably. About 48 percent think a fine of 1,000 euros would help, but 38 percent think that the amount is too high. For only 6 percent this does not go far enough; this group thinks the fine is too low.

Surprise visits

If home quarantine requirements need to be monitored, 38 percent believe boas should make surprise visits to humans. About 22 percent think that GGD employees should check by telephone whether people are really at home. About 30 percent want neither because of the invasion of privacy.
