Today, Wednesday, a poll revealed the deterioration of the mental health of Canadians in general due to the Covid-19 pandemic and its accompanying lockdown measures.
In a survey conducted by the company “Ipsos” as commissioned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation “CBC” News, half of the population surveyed in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba confirmed that their mental health had deteriorated during the health crisis.
The survey indicated that 49% of those who participated suffered greatly psychologically from the epidemic in Western Canada, compared to 46% in the rest of Canada, and it has recently been observed in Manitoba province, an increase in the number of mental health patients.
And more than two-thirds believed that their social life had deteriorated in a year of health crisis.
