In Poland, 79% of respondents consider Russia a hostile country, Polish Radio reported on Tuesday.
Of Poland’s seven neighbors, Poles consider Russia to be the most socially and culturally diverse, the survey concluded.
Poles feel much closer to the Czechs, Slovaks, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, Belarusians and Germans.
The poll also shows that for Poles, the phrase “Russia’s foreign policy” evokes negative associations, such as those associated with imperialism, expansionism, aggression, propaganda, lies and machinations.
The survey “Poland-Russia. Social Diagnosis” was commissioned by the Center for Polish-Russian Dialogue.
The survey was conducted from June 3 to June 16, interviewing more than 1,000 Poles.
Revealing that Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been poisoned by a chemical from the Novichok group, Polish Prime Minister Matthew Moravecki called Russia a hostile regime this month.
