In Singina, the elections will once again be hotly contested

Singine »Communal elections are seldom a long calm river in Singine. We already had a taste of it last November in the newly merged capital of Tavel, where a hotly contested ballot led to the appointment of an outsider trustee, the PDC Markus Mauron, who was preferred to the declared candidates. The localities of the German-speaking district are in fact politicized for more than half of them and only seven (out of fifteen) have less than 1,500 inhabitants. In six of these “small” municipalities (Brünisried, Heitenried, Plasselb, Dirlaret, Saint-Sylvestre, Tinterin), the filing of lists of agreements should lead to silent elections.
Everywhere else, candidates are preparing for confrontation. Including in Chevrilles, where the opponents certainly do not display political colors this year, but where two competing lists will cross swords, one of which includes outgoing elected officials who wore
