A report by the American newspaper Politico reported on Tuesday that the administration of US President Joe Biden provided Israel with the sites of humanitarian organizations in Gaza to prevent attacks, but Israeli forces bombed them.
Politico quoted three sources it described as familiar with communications between the American and Israeli sides, saying that the information provided by the Biden administration to Israel included accurate coordinates for the locations of organizations that provide food and medical care in Gaza, and those that work outside hospitals, and small offices.
The sources added that providing these sites to Israel did not prevent it from launching operations against Hamas in or near humanitarian aid sites, including hospitals, which led to the destruction of buildings and prevented the organizations from accessing fuel and vital supplies.

The sources indicated that Al-Shifa Hospital was among the medical facilities in Gaza, the coordinates of which the United States provided to Israel to prevent it from being targeted.

The sources indicated that their anonymity was due to their fear that speaking publicly would make the work of relief organizations more difficult in Gaza.
