Politicized, North Sumatran PAN Chairman Admits Persecution of Reporter at Silat Organization Event

Jakarta

Chief PAN North Sumatra (North Sumatra), Ahmad Fauzan was reported to the Padang Sidimpuan Police on suspicion of abuse. Fauzan admitted that he had abused the victim who was a reporter named Riduwan Putra Saleh.

“Actually this is an internal problem, a problem with the sacred site, a problem with the martial arts organization,” said Fauzan when confirmed, reported detikSumatra Monday (20/2/2023).

Ahmad admitted that Riduwan previously served as Secretary of Tapak Suci for North Sumatra, but had been dismissed from his post. It’s just that during the deliberation event, Riduwan mandated himself as a representative from Tapak Suci North Sumatra. As a result, Ahmad Fauzan, who is the Head of the North Sumatra Tapak Suci Regional Headquarters, was refused entry to the deliberation event.

“So, Riduwan, who reported me, has been fired from the management, but dared to mandate himself to attend the deliberation. I should have been because I am the chairman. He should no longer have the right to appoint himself, this is an abuse of authority,” said Fauzan.

Ahmad Fauzan confirmed that he kicked Riduwan spontaneously because he was annoyed. According to Ahmad, Riduwan retaliated by hitting himself. Other members of the Tapak Suci of North Sumatra were also annoyed and ganged up on Riduwan.

“When I kicked him, he hit me in front of the other swordsmen, of course that provoked a riot, because the swordsman’s friends thought he was disobedient, when students dared to hit the teacher,” he said.
