Vice President Iliana Yotova and Lyutvi Mestan were among the politicians who came to send off prominent Bulgarian journalist Georgi Koritarov, who died Tuesday of heart failure.
At the worship service in the Church of the Transfiguration in the capital’s Lozenets district, there were celebrities from journalism, colleagues of Koritarov from Europe TV, where until recently he hosted the show “Free Zone”, from the major national televisions and radio presenters. Several diplomats and public figures, such as Evgeni Mihailov, Ivaylo (Noisy) Tsvetkov, Emil Jasim, the former head of the parliament Dimitar Glavchev and Valeri Zhablyanov from the BSP and others, also offered condolences to his relatives.
