Desislava Atanasova from GERB announced: “We were in chaos, but the chaos is now under control”.
Georgi Ganev from “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria” stated: “The thinking of the Bulgarians is over and we will move in some direction”.
However, Georgi Svilenski from the BSP announced that he does not see the crisis as over. According to him, it will manifest itself before the local elections at the latest.
Commenting on the position of GERB-SDS towards the government, Desislava Atanasova explained that the party will be a constructive critic.
Georgi Ganev expressed the opinion that perhaps it is time to introduce the practice of holding a referendum when ratifying important international treaties. The specific occasion was the introduction of the euro as an official means of payment. Today, the parliament rejected the possibility of deciding this in a referendum.
