The agreement proposed by GERB legalizes existing relations in what has been called a non-coalition until now. This was commented to Nova TV by political scientist Assoc. Stoicho Stoev.
He explained that DPS is necessary not only for GERB, but also for PP-DB.
“The beauty of the coalition agreement is that everyone, no matter how small, can block a given decision,” added Stoychev.
“What GERB did is very cool, as a stand-up comedy, they should do it every month,” commented political scientist Dimitar Avramov jokingly at yesterday’s forum of the formation. And he recalled that Maria Gabriel called Boyko Borisov “the life force”.
Avramov clarified that “you cannot base your Euro-Atlantic policy on ordinary issues”. “If you constantly talk about Euro-Atlantic majorities, and people don’t like you, you create a problem,” explained Dimitar Avramov. According to him, a framework should be created, because then the DPS will say that they bear no responsibility.
“The crisis was very serious and they were on the verge of going to the elections, yesterday we witnessed an exit from the crisis and this unhealthy assembly was replaced by a marriage, a dynastic marriage,” says political scientist Tsvetanka Andreeva. She explained that the role of DPS will continue to be present. She recalled that the selection of the leadership of the BNB was reached after long talks. And he explained that in the agreement proposed by GERB there is equality.
Regarding the services, he said that the matter was personal, the people who proposed PP-DB did not like GERB.
Dimitar Avramov commented that DANS missed that there would be a war in Ukraine.
According to Andreeva, what politicians can do for the judicial system is to show that the state is behind the magistrates. Dimitar Avramov added that the assembly has taken good steps regarding the judiciary. But the place of the prosecutor’s office was not in the judiciary. A government that was left to itself became an organized group, and whether it was a criminal group was decided by itself.
