An economic resource is, of course, key to waging war, but Russia has already shown that it can develop “at a disadvantage” by continuing to fight even without an economy.
“The same applies to weapons, – Berezovets noted. – We see that they are not running out of weapons, they are finding alternative ways to circumvent sanctions and receive weapons produced by their allies, such as Iran and the DPRK.”
According to a military analyst, this means that the Russians’ supply of weapons, if not endless, could last for at least several more years. Human resources in Russia, of course, are much greater than in Ukraine.
“Therefore, if Russia is not seriously defeated on the battlefield, we may find ourselves in a protracted war that could last up to five years from today,” – Berezovets gave a sobering forecast.
Let us remember that Taras Berezovets spoke about serious problems in the Russian army: “This leads to more frequent cases of desertion.”
