Although the path to an agreement still seems uphill, some indicators should not be underestimated. According to the survey, in fact, in the last political elections in September 2022, if all the center-left parties had united in a single coalition they would have collected 48.8% in a national algebraic sum against 43.79 for the center-right, making it a more battle tight in the majority clashes of single-member constituencies.
The same comparison can be applied to the numbers of the European elections – with proportional electoral law – last June where the same alliance called by most “wide field” would have totaled 47.9% of the votes against the 47.4% of the centre-right.
As regards the approval of the parties, the Pd it is at 23.9% (+0.4 compared to July). They drop M5s with 10.3% (-0.1) e Avs with 5.4% (-0.2). It grows by 0.1 Italia Viva which reaches 2.5%. On the majority side, Brothers of Italy confirms itself as the first party with 29.7% (+1). They lose ground there Lega all’8,9% (-0,3) e Forza Italia 8,8% (-0,2).
