Over half of Italians – 53.0% – do not have confidence in the Meloni government, a figure up 0.2% compared to seven days ago. The share of those who trust the executive also rises, now at 39.8%, gaining +0.2%. Those undecided instead fell to 7.2%, down 0.4%. This is what emerges from a Dire-Tecnè survey with interviews carried out between 3 and 4 October 2024 on a representative sample of the adult population resident in Italy.
Consensus continues to grow around Fratelli d’Italia, which gains 0.1% in one week, reaching 29.4% and remaining firmly in first place in the ‘party purse’. In second place the Democratic Party at 23.7% (-0.1%), then Forza Italia at 11.1% (+0.1%). The M5S continues to decline, now at 10.5% (-0.2%), as does the League, at 8.0% (-0.2%). The Greens and Left Alliance loses 0.1% and drops to 6.5%, while Action reaches 3.0% (+0.1) and Italia Viva 2.0 (+0.1%), with +Europa to 1.7% (+0.1). The other parties added together reach 4.1% of the votes (+0.1).

The prime minister achieved 43.6% of the votes, gaining a further 0.2% in the last seven days. Podium unchanged compared to last week: in second place Antonio Tajani with 37% (+0.2%), in third place Elly Schlein with 31.1% (+0.1%).
He remains in fourth place Giuseppe Conte with 29.6% (dropping 0.2% again, like seven days ago). Continued Matteo Salvini with 26% (-0.1).
