Political polls, confidence in Meloni government drops. 58% of Italians in favor of Ius scholae

Negative sign in the percentage of those who have confidence in the executive led by Georgia Meloni. The government loses 0.2% compared to the last survey dating back to July 26 and stands at 39.3%. This is what emerges from a Dire-Tecnè survey with interviews conducted between August 29 and 30. 53.8% of voters do not trust the executive, a percentage up by 0.3%. 6.9% do not know.

58% of Italians, on the other hand, are in favor of Ius scholae, the measure that provides for the granting of Italian citizenship to children who attend schools in Italy. 26% of those interviewed are against it, 16% do not know, as reported by the Dire-Tecnè survey. Ius scholae is one of the unresolved issues of discord in the majority that animated this summer, with Antonio Tajani intending to support it.

As for the voting orientation, Brothers of Italy remains the leading party, gaining 0.2% and reaching 29.1% of Italians’ preferences. In second place, the Pd which however loses more than half a point (-0.6%) and settles at 24%. On the lowest step of the podium, tied, Forza Italia and M5S. Both parties at 10.8% are gaining ground compared to about a month ago: +0.5% for the Blues, +0.8% for the Five Star Movement. The Lega which does not go beyond 8.3% (-0.2%) and Avsstopped at 6.2% (-0.5%). Closing the ranking are Action, Iv and + Europerespectively at 2.8%, 2% and 1.9%.

The prime minister remains in the lead among Italians’ preferences among political leaders with 43% of positive evaluations but has dropped by -0.2% compared to the last survey of July 26. Antonio Tajani is confirmed in second place, gaining 0.5% and reaching 36.7%. The PD leader follows Elly Schlein at 31.2% (-0.1) and Joseph Conte rises to 30.1%. The M5S president gains 0.8% of consensus compared to a month ago. More detached Matthew Salvini follows at 26.1% (-0.6%). Followed by Emma Bonino al 21 (-1), Charles Calenda al 20,2 (+0,2), Angel Bonelli al 16,3 (-0,3), Nicholas Fratoianni at 16.1 (+0.2) and Matthew Renzi al 14,6 (+0,1).
