This conclusion aims for a more effective implementation of Resolution n ° 36-NQ / TW of March 26, 2004 of the Political Bureau of the 9th term on work related to Vietnamese abroad, and of Directive n ° 45-CT / TW of May 19, 2015 of the Political Bureau on strengthening the fulfillment of Resolution No. 36-NQ / TW.
In conclusion, the Political Bureau calls on the Party Committees and organizations to continue to promote the sense of responsibility in the implementation of the policy of great national union of the Party and the State towards the Vietnamese abroad. He orders them to reform and diversify the methods to encourage Vietnamese abroad, especially young people, to remain attached to the country of origin, to actively contribute to the development of the host country and to the promotion of good relations between the Vietnam and other countries.
Attention should also continue to be paid to supporting and promoting the role of prestigious and influential persons in the Vietnamese community abroad, in accordance with the laws of the host country and the laws of Vietnam; promptly reward and honor Vietnamese abroad who have made active contributions to national development and defense.
The Political Bureau also calls for a strengthening of cooperation with the competent bodies of the host country to support the Vietnamese community, especially in difficult areas. It stresses the need to continue to improve the effectiveness of citizen protection, to strengthen measures and promote international cooperation in the fields of justice, security, prevention and the fight against crime, human trafficking, illegal migration …
