“Political branding for 500,000 presale public housing” achieved through public proposals – Press release | meeting room | news

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Minister Won Hee-ryong) announced that the policy branding of 500,000 pre-sale public housing* to be provided to youth and homeless people over the next five years will be decided through public proposals.

The 500,000 presale public housing policy announced last month (October 26) is a policy to promote housing improvement and stability through affordable presale pricing above market price and innovative dedicated mortgage support for selective, share-type and general beyond the next five years. The brand to be defined through the public proposal is not a single apartment brand, but a brand that collectively refers to the “Policy for 500,000 Presale Public Housing Units”.

The public proposal will be held for 7 days from November 11 (Friday) to November 17 (Thursday), and people will be interested in it through the website of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (see banner) and the Ministry of the Territory, Ontong Plaza of Infrastructure and Transportation (www.molit.go.kr/ontong_plaza) Any citizen can participate. A small prize (200 people) will also be distributed through a lottery.

The policy brand proposed by the public will be decided at the end of November after discussions with private experts and policy consumers.

Lee Jang-won, head of the housing supply planning department at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, “I hope the newly selected political brand will be able to bring political consumers like young people and ordinary people with a familiar approach and a positive image”. In the future, we will try to approach the 500,000 social housing unit policy through online and offline advertising.”
