“Polissya” won on his field “Vorsklu” in the final match of the 26th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The match in Zhytomyr ended with a score of 1:0.
A goal scored in the 80th minute of the meeting brought victory to the home team. He became its author Oleksandr Nazarenkoand the assist was made by Emil Mustafaev.
Review of the match “Polyssia” – “Vorskla”
After this match, Polissia (42 points) is in sixth place in the UPL. The Zhytomyr team has a chance to finish in the top 4 and qualify for the next season’s European Cup. Serhii Shishchenko’s team is two points behind “Rukh” and three points behind “Dnipro-1”.
In turn, “Vorskla” (30 points) remained on the eighth step of the tournament table of the championship of Ukraine.
In the next UPL round, Zhytomyr will host Zorya on May 5, and the Poltava team will meet Metalist 1925 a day earlier.
