The Polish Sejm on Tuesday evening, as expected, voted for a vote of confidence in the composition of the Council of Ministers, headed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

The composition of the government was supported by 248 Polish deputies, 201 were against it, and no one abstained from voting.
The vote was postponed due to a scandal in the Sejm, when a member of the Ukrainian-phobic Confederation party, Grzegorz Braun, grabbed a fire extinguisher and extinguished the Hanukkah menorah.
Total in the government of Donald Tusk there will be nineteen ministers and four ministers without portfolio.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will again be Radoslaw Sikorski, who was in office in 2007-2014, and is now a member of the European Parliament. And the leader of the Nowoczesna party, Adam Szlapka, will become Minister of EU Affairs.
The Polish Ministry of Defense in the government of Donald Tusk will be headed by Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh, leader of the Polish Peasant Party. Its representative, Czeslaw Sekierski, should become Minister of Agriculture.
Other notable changes include the separation of the ministries of education and science, which will be headed by Barbara Nowacka of the Civic Platform and Dariusz Wieczorek of the New Left, respectively.
Polish President Andrzej Duda is expected to will take the oath the government of new Prime Minister Donald Tusk on the morning of Wednesday, December 13.
