Polish Security Forces Force Out Refugees to Belarus: Reports of Life-Threatening Situations

The Polish security forces forced out another group of refugees to Belarus. This was announced today, April 17, in the Belarusian State Border Committee.

“Poland’s migration policy continues to demonstrate the principles of ‘European democracy’. Over the weekend, the Polish military brought a group of foreigners to the border with Belarus and pushed them into Belarusian territory through the animal gate. The requests of the refugees to give them water and return mobile phones were ignored by the Polish security forces, leaving the refugees in a life-threatening situation,” – the message says.

Recall that the migration crisis on the border of Belarus with the EU countries began in mid-2021. Poland and the Baltic republics blamed the Belarusian side for what was happening and refused to accept migrants, while at the same time starting to build barriers. As a result, more and more cases of refugee deaths began to be recorded on the border with Belarus. In particular, a week earlier, near the Polish barrier, Belarusian border guards found the body of a man of African appearance. According to the Belarusian side, this is the fifth death of a foreigner on the border with Poland since the beginning of the year.
