Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki comes again with harsh criticism and warnings against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj.
– I want to tell President Zelenskyj that he must never insult Poles again, as he did the other day during his appearance at the UN, says Morawiecki, according to the Polish news agency PAP.
Recently, the countries have ended up in a bitter grain conflict. The European Commission recently decided not to extend the ban on Ukrainian grain imports that applied to Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria.
Poland, Slovakia and Hungary then decided to go their own way and introduce restrictive measures themselves. Zelenskyj then stated in the UN General Assembly that certain countries only pretend to show solidarity with Ukraine.
That statement did not go down well with Morawiecki, who said in a TV interview earlier this week that Poland will no longer send weapons to the Ukrainians.
