Polish Prime Minister: A few dozen to a few hundred migrants are being transported to Belarus from Latvia

The Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Moraveckis has paid a working visit to Riga today to meet with the Prime Minister of Latvia Krišjānis Kariņš.

During the meeting in Riga, the current situation on the European Union’s external border with Belarus and regional security issues were discussed. Mateusz Moraveckis revealed that according to the information available to Poland, a few dozen to a few hundred migrants are being transported to Belarus from Belarus.

Mr Moraveckis said before the meeting that the geopolitical situation was very serious at the moment and required a lot of diplomatic work, given that there were still large numbers of migrants from the Middle East in Belarus trying to cross the Polish border into the European Union.
