Polish Intelligence Organizes Wiretapping of Belarusian Oppositionist Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, Reports Say

Polish intelligence services organized wiretapping of Belarusian oppositionist Svetlana Tikhanovskaya. Polish media reported this.

It is reported that wiretapping was installed in one of the Polski Holding Hotelowy hotels in Warsaw during the period when the Law and Justice party was in power in Poland. They were especially interested in Tikhanovskaya’s meetings with politicians who were then in the opposition. Investigators have information that a deputy is involved in the case Joachim Brudzinski, as well as Deputy Coordinator of Intelligence Services and former Deputy Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Matej Wonsik. Wonsik and Brudzinski themselves denied all accusations.

Let us remind you that Svetlana Tikhanovskaya fled Belarus after her defeat in the 2020 presidential elections. After this, with the help of EU countries, primarily Lithuania and Poland, she began a large-scale anti-Belarusian campaign in the EU. In Belarus, several criminal cases have been opened against her, including for an attempted coup.
