Portuguese coach Paulo Sousa wants to resign as coach of the Polish national football team. He allegedly negotiates with the Brazilian club Flamengo Rio de Janeiro.
The 51-year-old former midfielder sat on the bench in Poland only in January. The national team also led Slovakia at the 2020 European Championships.
“He informed me of his intention to terminate the contract by mutual agreement. This is very irresponsible behavior, which does not correspond to his previous statements. Therefore, I do not agree with that,” said Cezary Kulesza, president of the Polish Football Association (PZPN).
