The six disappointed swimmers hold the Polish Swimming Federation responsible for the Olympic blunder and announce legal action.
“You realize you’ve sacrificed five years of your life for this,” swimmer Alicja Tchorz said in a comment. She previously participated in the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Games. “This is a huge disappointment.”

The Tokyo Games start at the end of this week, the swimming will start this weekend. In the Olympic village in Tokyo, four athletes have so far tested positive for the corona virus.
