A 43-year-old man who has been spying for Moscow for years has been detained in Poland, the Polish Internal Security Agency said. The materials handed over to the Russian special services were extremely important for Russia’s operations on Polish territory and were detrimental to national security.
Poland’s counterintelligence detained the suspect of espionage.
Acc. to the evidence, the above-mentioned citizen of the Poland cooperated with the special services of Russia.

“Polish Internal Security Agency staff identified a Polish citizen suspected of cooperating with foreign services. On that basis, the 43-year-old man was detained, ”says Stanislav Zharin, a representative of the Polish Internal Security Agency.
“We know that he cooperated with the special services of the Russian Federation. The man was given specific orders from Russia, and he collected information of a military nature, as well as information about specific persons and organizations of interest to the Russian side. “
The accused, identified in the press as Marcins K., pleaded guilty.
Polish media report that he faces up to 10 years in prison for espionage.
