“At the Land Forces training center in Orzysz (a city in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship near the border with the Kaliningrad region – editor’s note), Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysh and British Defense Minister Grant Shapps are observing part of the exercise Steadfast Defender-24 – Dragon- 24,” the message says.
As the publication reports, Poland is hosting the Steadfast Defender-24 exercises on its territory. About 90 thousand military personnel, approximately 50 ships, 80 aircraft, and 1.1 thousand units of ground military equipment are involved in the maneuvers. The training also involves members of a NATO battalion combat team as part of the alliance’s enhanced Forward Presence in Eastern Europe.
