Policewoman Simona Radeva was in Semerdzhiev’s car before the accident (review)

The former policewoman Simona Radeva, who was fired from the Ministry of Internal Affairs because she helped Georgi Semerdzhiev after the accident in which two girls died, was in his jeep hours before the tragedy. This was revealed by a witness in the case, which is being heard in the Sofia City Court.

Semerdzhiev is on trial for the accident that happened on July 5 last year on Cherni Vrah Blvd. Then his jeep swept away 22-year-old Hariet Stefanovic and 26-year-old Hristina Dileva.

He has five charges, including driving with a false license, false license plates and after using drugs.

At the meeting on Friday, it became clear that about five or six hours before the accident, at 6:30 p.m., Semerdzhiev had another road accident. The witness Georgi Marinov said that while traveling on the ring road, a jeep overtook him behind him. He noticed police lights flashing.

“He picked me up and just kept going,” the man described the incident. Georgi Marinov filmed with a video recorder.

The broker Magdalena Ivanova, who on the day of the accident was driving around with Semerdzhiev for inspections, also told about the same road accident. Together with them was the police officer Simona Radeva, who was sitting next to him in the front seat. Magdalena then met Simona. While he and Semerdzhiev looked at properties, the policewoman stayed in the car.

The young woman said that in both cars used by Semerdzhiev – a Mercedes and a Jeep, she had seen police jars and police batons.

Semerdzhiev’s ex-girlfriend, Eva Yordanova, defended him, saying that she had never seen him use drugs. During the case, however, her testimony was read to the investigation. At the time, she said she heard he sometimes took cocaine. They were in a relationship for about 2 years.

It is not clear what kind of relationship Georgi Semerdzhiev and the already dismissed policewoman Simona Radeva were on the date of the accident. In addition to her, her friend Miroslav Yakimov, who was also in close relations with criminals and was already in prison for drugs, Georgi Semerdzhiev, was also fired. It was he who accompanied him to the service station where the former football player serviced his cars. In the same way as Simona Radeva went around with him on property inspections with the broker.

On the day of the accident on Cherni Vrah Blvd., Semerdzhiev went to the service station again. The owner was questioned at the hearing on Friday, who stated that he did not see any signs of scratching on the bumper of the car.

The case continues on March 6.
