The patrol found about 40 angry people
Last night, a dispute arose in one of the neighborhoods of Dupnitsa, which quickly escalated into a mass fight. Eyewitnesses reported a fight to 112, and after the patrol arrived, the fight over the quarrel ended with a wounded police officer, BNT reports.
The patrol found an enraged crowd of about 40 people on the spot. The mob disobeyed verbal orders from law enforcement to stop the beating. So the police resorted to warning shots.
A policeman was hit on the head with a blunt object during the fight. He was admitted to a local hospital with a concussion. After the beating with a police order, two men from the neighborhood were detained – aged 21 and 48. Pre-trial proceedings have been instituted in the case.
