The police are present on Sunday evening with agents and an arrest team in the Emmerhout district in Emmen. A police helicopter from Amsterdam also flies around.
It is unclear what exactly is going on. The helicopter flies several laps above a forest. The spokesman for the Northern Netherlands police confirms that an incident has been reported, but does not want to provide any further explanation.
