At the border crossings in Trøndelag and Værnes, there are fast long queues due to the pandemic. These queues occur mainly because people do not fill out the registration form for arrivals in advance, the police in Trøndelag write in a press release.
Everyone who arrives in Norway, both Norwegian and foreign nationals, must fill out the digital registration form before arrival.
– We experience that many are not aware of this and it creates a lot of queues that could have been avoided, says Kjell Bergland, chief of staff in Trøndelag police district.
Bergeland emphasizes that those who are not going to be quarantined must also fill out the form.
All arrivals, with a few exceptions, must also be tested for corona at the border crossing point in Norway.
