Derek Chauvin, the former policeman who asphyxiated George Floyd to death, was released after paying $ 1 million bail (equivalent to 849,000 euros).
The now ex-police officer of Mineapolis, 44, was released on parole this Wednesday.
He was filmed kneeling on a man’s neck for eight minutes on 25 May this year while the detention was taking place.
