The police warned Monday about a man who has probably molested two women in Utrecht. The incidents took place in the districts of Hoograven and Lunetten.
The police call on women in particular to be careful and, if possible, to cycle together in the border area of Hoograven / Lunetten. In addition, it is reported that officers are extra alert.
The beatings took place on September 21 and 26. The women were arrested and abused by an unknown man. The second victim was taken to hospital with injuries.
It is not yet clear whether it is the same perpetrator. Among other things, it is still being investigated whether the incidents, which according to the police are similar, have something to do with each other. Previous incidents in the border area are also examined.
In the investigation into the abuse, witnesses and any other victims are asked to report. In addition, the police are calling on citizens to call 112 immediately if they see a man “who is behaving suspiciously or who makes him feel unsafe”.
