The police had to use their stun gun on Sunday at Chartres.
A motorist was driving too fast, rue Saint-Chéron, around 11 p.m. The 39-year-old man was visibly drunk. He refused to get out of his vehicle to be checked and rebelled. The police therefore used their taser to neutralize the individual. Then challenge him. He allegedly damaged the police vehicle. He was taken into custody. He will be tried later for drunken driving, rebellion and damage to an administrative vehicle, says Echo.
