A seriously injured man aged 31 is the result of an escalated argument on Saturday morning, January 21, 2023, in Sankt Märgen.
According to current police knowledge, there was a dispute between the injured party and a 43-year-old Belarusian national at around 2:20 a.m. The older of the two men is said to have attacked the 31-year-old with a knife and seriously injured him to have.
When the suspect then wanted to leave the crime scene, he was observed by a witness and a little later arrested by the local police.
An arrest warrant requested by the public prosecutor’s office in Freiburg was issued and implemented as requested. The suspect is now in custody.
The life-threateningly injured 31-year-old was flown to a Freiburg clinic in a rescue helicopter.
The investigations by the Freiburg criminal police are ongoing.
