Freiburg – 40-year-old injured with an ashtray

Freiburg – On February 28, 2022, at around 9:15 p.m., two groups clashed in front of a bar on Eschholzstrasse. In the course of this feud, an accused punched a 40-year-old man in the back with a shard of glass from a cracked ashtray in his hand. As a result, he inflicted a four-centimetre-long cut on the victim, which had to be sewn up in a Freiburg clinic.
The background to the dispute is not yet clear. The Stühlinger police station has started investigations into dangerous bodily harm against the 26-year-old Gambian national.
