In the night from Thursday to Friday, July 15th, 2022, a Wacker Neuson type BS60 rammer weighing around 70 kg was stolen from a 2 meter deep excavation pit at a construction site on Rivanerweg in Freiburg-Tiengen. The perpetrators may have a small truck used with a crane to carry out the crime and to lift and transport this heavy machine out of the excavation pit.
In the last four weeks, vibratory plates and other machine tools have also been stolen from construction sites in Munzingen, Freiburg-Tiengen and Riegel.
