In the night of January 9, 2023 to January 10, 2023, two burglaries and an attempted burglary took place in St. Märgen.

Strangers broke into a boarding house on Wagensteigstrasse. The perpetrator opened a side entrance door so as to enter the building. All the rooms in the guesthouse were searched. At the moment it is not yet known how high the theft damage is. There was material damage of around 1,000 euros.

A previously unknown person broke into a hotel on Feldbergstrasse. According to the current state of the investigation, a door to enter the building was also forced here. All hotel rooms were searched. Currently it is assumed that a 4-figure sum of money has been stolen. There was material damage of around 3,000 euros.

Allegedly that same night, strangers tried to enter a pharmacy on Wagensteigstrasse. The perpetrator tried to force open several entrance doors, but this was unsuccessful. There was property damage of around 2,000 euros.

Whether the crimes are related is the subject of an ongoing investigation. The Titisee-Neustadt police station asks all witnesses of the accidents to call 07651/93360.
