The integrated control center Freiburg was informed of a fire in a building at around 18:30 today, Friday, December 23, 2022.
It is clear that at 20:30 a fire broke out in a room on the first floor of an apartment building on Hexentalstraße in Bollschweil.
A total of 20 people live in the building, seven people were affected by the fumes – while five people were deemed unharmed after a check by the rescue service and the emergency doctor, two other people were taken to a nearby hospital. However, they weren’t seriously injured.
Property damage to the property is estimated to be in the six-figure range.
A large number of members of the Bollschweil fire brigade, several ambulances and an emergency doctor are present during the operation.
The carabinieri were also on duty with various patrols and are investigating the cause of the fire.
