STEAL OF A HIVE OF BEES IN THE LOWER FÖHENTAL
Freiburg (ots) –
In the period from Wednesday, 13.04. until Saturday, April 16th, 2022, unknown perpetrators stole a “hive” with a colony of bees from an apiary in Glottertal, Föhrentalstraße/ at the height of Scharbächlehof.
The “prey” (technical term for the bee container) is one with three frames, as well as a feeding dish and lid. The perpetrators must have had specialist knowledge, since of all things a bee colony with a “mating station mated queen” was stolen.
The theft damage is estimated at around 350 – 400 euros.
