On January 7, 2022, around 10:35 am, the command and situation center of the police was informed via an emergency call that a collision between several vehicles had occurred at the mentioned place.

A total of five cars were found at the scene, some of which were badly damaged. Due to the debris field and car salvage, the A5 is currently completely closed northbound; A local detour is set up.

According to the current status, four of the ten passengers were slightly injured and had to be taken to nearby hospitals, with the material damage expected to amount to around 60,000 euros.
