A serious car accident occurred today, Sunday 18 September 2022, around 5:30 pm.

According to current knowledge, there was a head-on collision between two vehicles on federal road 294 near Gutach im Breisgau. Five people were injured in the accident, some seriously.

The B 294 had to be completely closed for the necessary on-site measures between Bleibach / L 173 and the Waldkirch-Hugenwald tunnel. Two rescue helicopters are in action, traffic delays are expected in the evening hours.
