The Police of Costa Rica seized near the border of Peñas Blancas more than 10 thousand units of medicines of various types, which the authorities should assume that came from Nicaragua, as reported in the journal of Tile that neighbouring country.
The seizure occurred on the evening of last Thursday, when Police tica carried out border controls and requisitioned a bus from the route Peñas Blancas-Liberia and an officer saw that three women were very nervous. The review they found a total of 10,306 units of drugs of different types.

In addition, to the three women, who were not identified nor reported on their nationalities, they seized 76 ointments, 25 creams and 10 deodorants.
“These drugs have entered the country (Costa Rica) without any sanitary registration by the Ministry of Health and many require prescription for its sale, so that the Public Force the seized weapons,” reported the Public Security, according to a quotation by the middle of The Tile.

Some of the seized medicines were expired.
The women were not detained and the drugs were destroyed by the authorities costarriccenses.
