Police Threats to Sedan Owners Block Ambulance If Ignore Calls

A viral video on social media showed a passing ambulance blocked by a sedan in Pamulang, South Tangerang. The police have pocketed the identity of the owner of the sedan and will immediately make a call.

The police asked the owner of the sedan to be cooperative. Otherwise, the police can block the vehicle for traffic violations. Here is the beginning of the case.

Viral Ambulance Blocked by Sedan

Initially, a viral video on social media showed an ambulance passing by being blocked by a sedan. The incident is said to have occurred in Pamulang, South Tangerang.

In the video, a dark blue sedan can be seen speeding down the right-hand lane and blocking the ambulance. The car did not seem to brake or reduce speed.

But not long after that the sedan finally took the left lane. The incident allegedly occurred on Jalan Raya Jakarta-Bogor, Pamulang, South Tangerang.

“Wow… I’m viralin you… I’m viralin you, come on this TV,” said the video recording man in the ambulance, as seen by detikcom, Friday (30/7/2021).

Sedan Obstructed Ambulance Wants to Pick Up Critical Patients

An ambulance was allegedly blocked by a sedan in Pamulang, South Tangerang. The ambulance was supposed to pick up a patient who was in critical condition.

Bagus (20), an ambulance assistant, said that on Thursday (29/7/2021) he and an ambulance driver named Elzan were going to pick up patients in Sawangan, Depok, West Java.

“First, I received a call from the family asking me to pick up a patient with a critical status. From Ciledug, I headed to the Kemang Raya Residence Housing, Sawangan, Depok,” Bagus said when confirmed, Friday (30/7).

However, when passing on Jl Raya Jakarta-Bogor, a sedan blocked the ambulance. Even the sedan had to brake suddenly in front of the ambulance.

“I was walking at high speed and was blocked by a car where the car seemed to be slowing down. So I was speeding, he was speeding, I turned right he went right and he braked suddenly,” said Bagus.

“Fortunately my driver had time to square off so he didn’t hit a car that was blocking me,” he continued.

The rotator and the siren of the volunteer ambulance went off. But the sedan driver did not want to step aside.

“I’ve turned on the siren, I’ve turned on the rotator lights, it’s complete. I don’t want to give way, I just keep walking in front of the ambulance,” said Bagus.

Until finally Bagus took out his cellphone and recorded a video. Not long after, the sedan gave way.
