Police obtained cell phone evidence at a house in Citra Garden Extension I Kalideres, West Jakarta, where 4 people from a family are found whose bodies were found “desiccated”. Currently, these findings are being verified at the Police Forensic Laboratory.
“There are no (results) yet, the HP is still being checked in the lab,” the General Criminal Investigation Unit said West Jakarta Metro Police AKP Avrilendy when contacted, Monday (14/11/2022).
Avrilendy did not specify how many cell phones were seized at the crime scene. She also could not reveal the contents of the cell phone because she was still awaiting the results of the laboratory check.
“(Quantity) I haven’t seen the HP either. We haven’t received the results yet,” he said.
Avrilendy added that police were unable to establish the cause of death in this case. As of now, her party is still awaiting the results of the coroner’s thorough examination.
“(Initial hypothesis) cannot be (revealed). Since the cause is not yet possible, we are waiting for the coroner. We cannot draw any conclusions yet,” he explained.
Additionally, Avrilendy said that until now, police were still investigating the evidence she collected. This is deemed necessary to clarify the case.
“We outline most of the objects in the room, we take them all out of the room. We to collect and figure it out,” he said.
