The man with the initials Q claimed to be a member of the Indonesian Navy in Rajeg, Tangerang Regency. The police reveal Q to be a soldier fake military because his dream of becoming a TNI was not achieved.
“Regarding the confession of the fake TNI suspect named Brother Q, he wore a TNI AL uniform along with the complete TNI AL attributes, because he felt that his dream was to become a TNI and his aspirations were not achieved,” said Rajeg Police Chief AKP Nurjaman in a written statement, Sunday ( 12/3/2023).
Nurjaman said Q had been wearing a TNI uniform since 2021 after his parents died. According to him, Q wore the TNI AL uniform for the purpose of taking pictures, including during a pre-wedding photo with his wife, MNS.
“The person concerned claims to be a member of the TNI and wears a TNI uniform since 2021. And the person concerned aims to wear a TNI uniform for personal uniforms only to take photos, and wear a TNI AL uniform for his pre-wedding photo shoot with his wife in early December 2022,” he explained.
Nurjaman revealed that because he was so obsessed, Q was very satisfied when he wore the Indonesian Navy uniform. When wearing the TNI AL uniform, Q never scared the public or abused it.
“And the purpose of wearing the TNI AL uniform is not to frighten the public or take advantage of the uniform,” said Nurjaman.
Nurjaman said Q had a mental disorder because his dream of becoming a member of the Navy was not achieved. Q himself got these TNI attributes from a number of E-commerce.
Previously, Q had married a woman with the initials MNS. After 3 months of marriage, MNS did not know that her husband was a fake TNI.
“The information obtained was like that (the wife did not know her husband was a fake TNI). (Already married) 3 months,” said Rajeg Police Chief AKP Nurjaman when confirmed, Sunday (12/3).
Nurjaman explained, now Q has been secured by the Navy Military Police Center (Puspomal). Initially, the police received a report from Puspomal regarding the existence of a fake TNI with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in Sumur Daon Village, Rajeg District, Tangerang Regency.
After that, said Nurjaman, the Puspomal asked for assistance from members of the Rajeg Police to carry out an inspection at Q’s house. As a result, it was found that Q was an ordinary civilian who claimed to be a member of the Al TNI.
