Police suspect link between explosions at Polish supermarkets | NOW

Police suspect that there is a link between the explosions that took place last month at five Polish supermarkets and are strongly aware that one group of perpetrators is responsible for the explosions, the program reported. Investigation Requested Tuesday evening.

After the explosions, remains of jerry cans, presumably of the same kind, were found. These are yellow jerry cans that are for sale at Shell petrol stations. The jerry cans may have been filled at a petrol station shortly before the attacks.

The shops are so-called Polish supermarkets, but are run by Iraqi Kurds. After four explosions in December at supermarkets in Aalsmeer, Heeswijk-Dinther and Beverwijk, things remained quiet for a while.

In the night from Sunday to Monday, there was another attack on a Polish supermarket. This time, the Warszawa XL store on Paletplein in Tilburg was the target. In Investigation Requested It was reported that the family that owns the business in Tilburg also operates the supermarkets in Aalsmeer and Beverwijk.

In December, a photo was shared of a suspect who was probably involved in the explosion in Heeswijk-Dinther. That has led to some tips, but not yet led to any arrest.
