The police report that they cannot deal with one person after the fire. Work on the fire site has been completed for the evening and will start again on Friday morning.
The report about the fire came in to the fire service and the police a little before 2pm today. The single-family house was engulfed in flames, but the police eventually got the fire under control.

The fire service has worked to cool down a nearby business building to prevent the fire from spreading there. There should now be no danger of the fire spreading.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
– It is far too early to say anything about the cause of the fire, says Mork.
The ferry connection Larsnes-Åram-Voksa-Kvamsøya was suspended for a period due to the ferry being used in connection with the evacuation.
