The police pulled several young alcoholics out of circulation in the Pinzgau region of Salzburg on Sunday night. A 24-year-old drunk drove his car over a traffic island in Mittersill and crashed into a curb. Although his tires were badly damaged and the oil pan was leaking, he drove on and passed a police patrol. The alcohol test showed a value of 1.52 per mille, reported the Salzburg police. The driver’s license was taken from the drunk driver.
During a control in Oberpinzgau, an 18-year-old from the Kufstein district was stopped with 1.04 per mille. His driver’s license was also taken from him on the spot.
The police immediately chased an oncoming car because it was driving in a serpentine manner. Before the car was stopped by the police, the driver and front passenger swapped places. Faced with this, the two 19-year-olds also admitted it. The original handlebar was 1.48 per mille and the second guy was 0.78 per mille.
