Police stop plane and stop kidnapping girl (4) | Abroad

On Thursday at 4.57 pm local time, the police received a tip about the kidnapping, the plane was due to depart at 6 pm. The aircraft was stopped. Officers boarded and found the girl. A 32-year-old man has been arrested.

“The plane was already taxiing and ready to take off, but we were there just in time,” a police spokesman told the BBC. She calls the case “immensely complex and challenging.”

It is unclear what the relationship between the man and the girl is, but they do know each other. Her mother had reported her daughter missing the day before. “It was a race against time to find the man.”

The suspect was interrogated on Friday. He is now out on bail. The girl is reunited with her mother.
